Handling
There are three modes of operation: rotation only, rotary hammer, and hammer only mode.
The hammer's integral clutch helps minimize torque reaction.
Its variable speed reversing trigger is ideal for accurate bit starting, as well as removing fasteners or bound bits.
This hammer allows for tool-free bit changes with automatic bit locking, dust protection, and maximum impact energy transfer rate.
Lithium-Ion Battery
The hammer comes with Lithium™ 36 V batteries that are made with advanced Lithium-Ion battery technology, so you are able to get up to 5 times more charges and 2 times longer run time than competitive Lithium-Ion.
The batteries are compatible with the Lithium™ fast charger, which charges 36 V batteries to 80% of capacity in 30 minutes.
Bosch 18V batteries come equipped with Coolpack Technology, which provides better performance from your tools in both high and frigid temperatures.
