Product Description
The BOSCH Countersink Bit is great for deburring and chamfering openings to pre-drilled holes. These countersinks cut varied materials cleanly and accurately; they're great for electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractors.
Handling
There is a self-starting point that starts on contact.
It's built with a balanced double flute, and the trailing flute automatically deburrs holes.
This bit eliminates chatter and vibration, so it handles more easily than other bits.
Build
With bits made out of standard high-speed steel with a super hard titanium-coating, these countersinks give you great performance even in the toughest materials.
You're able to resharpen cutting edge, so you have longer tool life.
- Deburring: Deburring is the act of removing unwanted material, known as Burrs, from a work piece. Burrs are usually created during the following operations; grinding, drilling, milling, engraving or turning.
- Drill Bits: A metal rod of varying length and diameter that is used to drill holes in various materials and is designed to help draw the cut material out of the hole.
- Countersink Bit: Drill bits built to enlarge and bevel the rim of a drilled hole so that a fastener can be inserted flush with the surface.
